CUSTOMER SESSION TIMEOUT V1.0
================================

Compatibility
-------------
CE Phoenix Cart 1.1.0.6
PHP 8.2

No core files are changed.

Installation
------------
1. Back up the site files and database.
2. Rename the package folder "catalog/admin" to match your actual Phoenix
   Admin folder name.
3. Upload the contents of the package "catalog" folder to the matching
   folders on the store.
4. While signed into Phoenix Admin, open:

      customer_session_timeout_install.php

5. Press Install.
6. Press Open Session Settings, or go to:

      Admin > Configuration > Sessions

7. Set:

Enable Customer Inactivity Timeout: True or False
Customer Inactivity Timeout (minutes): 60 by default

8. Delete customer_session_timeout_install.php from the Admin folder after
installation. It is not needed during normal operation.

How it works
------------
- Only logged-in storefront customers are timed.
- Activity on an ordinary shop page restarts the timer.
- After the configured period of inactivity, the customer is signed out and
sent to the login page with a clear explanation.
- The shopping basket is preserved.
- Submitted checkout requests and immediate payment-completion pages are not
  interrupted.
- Admin sessions are not affected.

Testing
-------
For a quick test, set the timeout to 1 minute:

1. Log in as a storefront customer.
2. Leave the store untouched for more than one minute.
3. Open or refresh an ordinary page such as account.php or index.php.
4. Confirm that the login page appears with the timeout message.
5. Confirm that basket contents remain available.

Set the intended timeout after testing. A value of 60 minutes is a sensible
general starting point.

Uninstallation
--------------
If the installer is still present, open it and press Uninstall. Otherwise,
upload the installer file again, open it from Phoenix Admin, and press
Uninstall. The four copied add-on files can then be removed.
