Hello Rainer,

Phoenix version 1.0.8.16
Upgraded from 4.0.1 to 4.5.2

I looked at the the update from previous versions but I'm not sure if I'm missing something.

I know the images for most of the products exist but the no image gif is showing. I've reset thumbs and cleared cache.

What should I check?

You could run the uninstall script, check if all files are in place and then install again the configuration settings going to admin configuration images

How do I reinstall after running the uninstall script?

I have everything set in admin > configuration> images. The images are slowly coming back.

Hello Raiwa,

I'm still experiencing half of my images not showing after upgrading to 4.5.2. There's no errors in the error logs. I have purged cache several times at Cloudflare CDN. And the settings are correct in admin. Can you think of anything that I may be missing?

Hi,

If the failing images are bigger (image pixel size, not jpeg file size) than the ones which are showing, you probably reach your servers memory_limit when trying to generate the thumbnails. You can increase it in your CPanel's PHP settings or directly modify it in your php.ini or user.ini.
If you do not know how to do it, ask your hosting.
If you can't increase it, you would need to use smaller original images.

Another possible reason for to fail are image names with special characters or very long image names.

Everything worked fine using 4.0.1 on Phoenix 1.0.8.16 but it was throwing errors in error log so I upgrade to latest version. No errors however no images. Most products have images some don't. The products that doesn't have images currently had images before the upgrade.

What changes to the code was made from version 4.0.1 to 4.5.2 that affect the images for the product page?

I ask just to eliminate the addon possible causes before I turn my focus to Cloudflare and my host.

Kissit 4.5.2. is working on several Phoenix 1.0.8.20/21 stores under PHP 8.0 without any issues.
Please check the memory_limit as it is the most common reason why some images work and others fail. You may have a lower setting if you a running now a higher PHP version or changed hosting. You may see errors related to this in the error log, but not displaying on screen.
