1.0.8.4 Not working

New install 1.0.8.4
Enable override template in My store
Paste file to templates/override/includes/hooks/admin/siteWide/hMenu.php

No down arrow to show a left menu.

How to get it to work in 1.0.8.4?

1.0.8.4 looks like it no longer loads hooks from the templates/override/includes/hooks/admin/siteWide . You can do the following to get this working:

- create a folder: includes/hooks/admin/old
- move includes/hooks/admin/siteWide/hMenu.php to /hooks/admin/old/hMenu.php
- move templates/override/includes/hooks/admin/siteWide/hMenu.php to includes/hooks/admin/siteWide/hMenu.php

This should solve the issue. *** This now becomes a core change ... but ATM, I am unaware of another way to do this.

I have not yet tested in 1.0.9.6, but it should always work in includes/hooks/admin/siteWide/hMenu.php, make sure to backup the old hMenu in case you need to revert.

Hi ,
I tried it several times and keep getting the same result "This page isn’t working *********.co.uk is currently unable to handle this request.
HTTP ERROR 500"
When I revert to the original hMenu.php it all works fine again.
My Cpanel and Website keep working, I just lose access to admin.
Is there anyway to get it working without making a core change?

I just tested today on 1.0.9.5 and it works fine.

I would need you to share error log errors for support.

1.0.9.6 is not tested yet.

The error_log in the admin directory would be related to admin errors, depending on your hosting environment.
