Minimum files required when swapping websites

Hi Raiwa,

I am getting ready to swap my old version of the website for a new updated version.

My question is - what is the minimum files that need to be left on the server?

I assume its going to be the htaccess file and the maintenance file in the root. Is there anything more just while the site codes are being swapped. The addon code will be in the new files to be uploaded.
