Hello,
I was able to generate the sitemaps once and since can not get them to update. Tried using the generate button, tried calling www.mysitename/sitemaps, no luck. Just leaves the originally generated files as is. No errors in log. What to do please ?????

Have you checked if the sitemap files are read-only? That may be the problem.

Yes, the write permission should have been 705. Thanks.

On the other hand the language conversion is not working so the urls show symbols instead of replacing accented lletters. Do not see a place to indicate to use the conversion...

Yes they do generate but the problem I encounter now renders the add-on useless on Phoenix 1.0.8.4 as clicking a category changes the language so my customers are perplex and ready to abandon!

When I click the generate button in admin and then check in FTP software the date doesn't change to current date.
