Re: Soooo Quiet in Here

I originally stumbled across osc in 2006 and very quickly fell under its spell. I ran a few stores for about 5 years and then life took me on a different path for a while. I tried to keep up to date with the movement from osc to edge etc but never really got back in the game until burt gave birth to...

@tessthepup No - I only had some difficulties with the PHP8 /session commits of @BrockleyJohn ... did a work around for now but did not find a solid soluton ... might be I have to update server PHP to 8.2 or 8.3 but working on other stuff - so have to revisit the issue later. But no - not a real is...

Re: 1.1.0.7 Questions / Comments / Concerns / Feedback

@burt
Not sure if it is me but I have upgraded the demo site https://phoenix-demo.co.uk/ from 1.1.0.6 to 1.1.0.7 and the only issue I have is the loss of half of the admin hMenu.

Has this happened to anyone else?

After restoring the 1.1.0.6 version it works fine

Re: Near Instant Alerts if your shop goes down (Would you use this?)

What a brilliant idea which will enhance Phoenix immeasurably.

I had a site go down recently because the domain had expired. I do not even remember seeing the email and to be honest never login to the registrar unless I need to update DNS or purchase a new domain.

Re: Kimi AI

I've been playing with Kimi AI over the last couple of weeks, and it's pretty good - as good as chatGPT for sure, maybe not as good as Claude for Technical stuff. Kimi is free , unless you step up to the K3 version. If anyone wants to try hit this link , that is a referral link it gives us both a f...

Re: Advanced Order Manager (AOM) - Testers?

OK I have not had much success asking for testers of other mods, which is fine, I know everyone is busy AOM is, in a nutshell, an addon which allows you to add and edit orders through admin with lots of other stuff thrown in such as the ability to add custom items to orders, assign custom shipping,...

Re: Scope Creep - Who Manages to Resist it?

I can totally relate to scope creep. I am also working on a game changer add-on for Phoenix that I keep adding to and have to force myself to stop and say enough is enough and save it for version 2 I totally feel your pain! Started out simple, just a couple of files - now its 10 files or so and doe...

Re: Scope Creep - Who Manages to Resist it?

Been working on quite an ambitious Addon for Phoenix - and I have to say its looking good. (Amazing actually!) But, I'm suffering from scope creep - I keep thinking "this feature would be nice" or "wouldn't it be good if it did that". So I'm stuck between - "Push something ...

when i put a page into ie and Firefox, get a flash of how it should be, suppose chrome is caching.
I have checked in Chrome, Firefox, Edge and Opera and it all looks ok to me.

have you refreshed your cache? or could your host be caching files?
