Just loaded the program but looks like you need to know programming to run this thing. Is that correct?

Once you have it all installed its just a case of going through the settings and setting things up as you want. If you download addons from the addons area its just a case of uploading them to your site and turn them on after changing any settings for the addon.
Once you get the hang of it, it is so much easier than most other ecommerce carts.
