Good morning team Phoenix
Installed Version: CE Phoenix v1.0.8.20
PHP Version 8.2.11 (Zend 4.2.11)
https://www.beestradingcards.com
I just installed CE Phoenix Cart about 20 min ago and was getting settings adjusted to my hobby. I reached the section modules/content/footer/cm_footer_text.php where I was editing the text for my About Us section. I entered my text and clicked save and this screen came up. Attached is a screenshot of the screen I got.
Thanks for any assistance you can provide
Chad

Re: Getting a "Sorry you have been Blocked" Screen
This isn't something in the code of Phoenix that has blocked you.
It seems like your hosts security rules are set to paranoid, which is the problem.
get in touch with the host and see if they have any advice. Post back to let us know the outcome and we can go from there.

Just spoke with HostGator and it has been escalated to the admins. So now we will see what they can do.

Re: Getting a "Sorry you have been Blocked" Screen
This was the latest message from Hostgator after going back and forth.
Dear Chad,
Thank you for contacting HostGator Support. I’m Shashank looking into case # S-2414824. I understand your concern regarding this issue and I appreciate your patience while we took care of this for you.
From the case details, I understand that you are receiving errors "unable to access cf.prod.hostgator.com" when logging into CE Phoenix Cart admin. Unfortunately we cannot do anything from our end. I request you to please contact your developer or use an alternative solution as the action their software is attempting is not allowed on our servers. You may also consider updating their code or moving to a VPS/Dedicated server where they will have more control over which rules they can apply to their server.
We look forward to receiving your reply and quickly resolving this for you.
If you have any queries regarding this issue let me know through the same email thread. I’ll be happy to assist you further.
Kind Regards,
Shashank.V

Re: Getting a "Sorry you have been Blocked" Screen
They're being clowns in the hope that you move to a more expensive server.
It is their security rules that has stopped you from doing what you want to do, keep in mind that you pay hostgator for them to disallow you to do something.
As an alternative to using the admin/define_languages.php page, simply amend the file by using the hosting control panel. Or by downloading the file (eg using FTP), amending it and uploading to overwrite.
When all is said and done, this is squarely on the shoulders of Hostgator and their paranoia.

Re: Getting a "Sorry you have been Blocked" Screen
Like the previous answer, this is directly associated with your host's server.beesgraded wrote: ↑Mon Oct 30, 2023 7:02 pm This was the latest message from Hostgator after going back and forth.
You did not specify what action gave you the "Blocked" message but guessing you were editing a language file in Tools>Define Languages?
You should see a Download only (do not store server side) checkbox (see screenshot below).
Try ticking that box before saving your changes, then upload that file to your server to overwrite the file there.
Alternatively, as suggested in previous answer, you could use your host server control panel to edit the file on the server.
Let us know how you get on.
