Hi all
do you have a Script which can "add ord disable" cookies? but probably phoenixcart won't work if you disable cookies i think.
at the moment i have a headerscript which say " this shop use cookies, accept if you don't accept you can't surf on our page) but most script you have toggles that you can set to accept only important cookies but don't accept advertisemnet like google cookies or something. Did you found a script which you can include for phoenixcart?
There are many if you google 'free cookie consent tool'. This was the first one I found. You need to follow the instructions to create your banner, then copy the <script> code that it produces and replace the new section in where the SIlktide Script is in the code Gary produced. You will then need to remove some of the other code, including some of the settings, which is specific for the Silktide code.

There are numerous 3rd Party solutions available that are fully compliant with cookie regulations. One of these can be seen working on a Certified Developer website here - https://cartmart.uk/index.php
do you know the plugin which cartmart.uk uses? and does it have a service with monthly cost behind?
thank you all. I don't get exactly why i should pay a monthly cost 30-50 USD, to use a script to accept / decline cookies. For my understanding this should be a simple script and not a "monthly subscription" to pay for a script i have no problem, but to pay every month the next 10 years for this i have problems at the moment with this idea...hmmm
I am using cookieyes.com on many of my sites. They have a free option for low traffic sites.
The reason there is a monthly fee for many of these is that they store proof of consent for every visitor to your site. Proof of consent is a requirement and the storage is what you are paying for. They also monitor your site for new cookies and amend policies/alerts as needed.
