Product Keywords

I was wondering why the product keywords for my store products are not shown anywhere when I check by viewing website source. Also, there isn't a meta keywords tag as well. When creating my products, I always add keywords to them. Why is this?

Google (and all other search engines, other than the chinese Baidu if I remember correctly) has not used meta keywords in years. What's the point, therefore, of showing them.

Downside: your site will load slower

What you do have built in to Phoenix is a product keywords search engine.
So try searching for one of your inputted keywords using the usual search box.

I was merely trying to follow some website seo suggestions from an AI tool to add the keywords meta tag. If there are no upsides, then I won't worry about them.
