How to break up category description into two parts

Post by drtom »

OK Good People of Phoenixcart Land,

Two final issues to resolve and I'll finally stop pestering you. (at least for now)

One of my sub categories has a rather lengthy description that I'd like to break up into two parts so that the second part is under the image cards. This makes sense not only because it breaks up the lengthy text, but also because it's kind of an afterthought where I offer to make customized versions of the items offered.

Haven't been able to figure out how to make that happen and would appreciate suggestions.

The other thing is that I think I inadvertently (or was it shortsightedly?) deleted the Payment Options module. I think that's why the footer icons are beyond my control. Is there a way to reinstall the module?

Thank you for being here.

For sub-categories, Category/Manufacturer Description is a Content Module in the index_products Group that displays the description that is entered and saved when creating/editing that sub-category. Possibly, for your suggested use case, you would need to add a way to enter and save that second text when creating/editing a sub-category and also make an additional module to display that second text, if it exists, where you want.

If you mean the payment icons shown in the footer_suffix:

You configure them in the module - Modules>Content>Footer Icons (footer_suffix Group).
