PHP Error Message

Hello,

I am helping someone try to install and use Phoenix cart. Install was done via Softaculous and is up to date version. When we try to add images to a product page via Phoenix, the images upload, but do not show up in the catalog/store pages. This happens when adding images to a new product, also to an existing product such as "Limes."

Not sure if this is a server issue or Phoenix issue. Help ticket has been sent to website host.

PHP 8.3.27 (Zend 4.3.27) - also tried 8.0 and 7.4
Linux 5.14.0-503.40.1.el9_5.x86_64
CE Phoenix v1.1.0.6

Every time a product is viewed online I see the following message show up in public_html/shop/error_log
Does not matter if the product is one we added, or an existing sample product.

I would check to see if that module is installed in the php version you are running, if not enable it and see if it fixes the error

Check if the main image of a new product shows up in admin > catalog when focussed on the product. I suspect it doesn't and the database record for the image file name is empty. You will find you can't edit a new product without putting the image file back into the image field.

This means your uploads aren't actually working.

I helped someone with the same problem recently - they were based on US East coast but using a server in NZ.

The file upload to the server's temp directory was working but the copy from temp into the images folder was not... possibly due to latency in the system. Putting in debug to check the problem detail actually stopped it happening!
The diagnostics were in the admin class upload:

If this does make the problem go away, you could try e.g. usleep(500) in the second slot

Thank you BrockleyJohn, that appears to make it work. I still see the same error message thrown in error_log, but it works. I will take this info to my web host techs and see what they think about it.

EDIT: No longer seeing any error_log message!
