Admin side login problems.

Post by RAC »

Hello again

My shop is oh-so very close to going live

I am getting a error trying to login to my admin side

#0 /home/public_html/Shop/*********/index.php(13): require()
#1 {main}
thrown in /home/public_html/Shop/*********/includes/application_top.php on line 20

// start the timer for the page parse time log
define('PAGE_PARSE_START_TIME', microtime(true));

include 'includes/configure.php';

require 'includes/system/autoloader.php';
$class_index = catalog_autoloader::register();

// make a connection to the database... now
$db = new Database() or die('Unable to connect to database server!');

$hooks = new hooks('shop');
$all_hooks =& $hooks;
$hooks->register('system');
foreach ($hooks->generate('startApplication') as $result) {
if (!isset($result)) {
continue;
}

if (is_string($result)) {
$result = [ $result ];
}

if (is_array($result)) {
foreach ($result as $path) {
if (is_string($path ?? null) && file_exists($path)) {
require $path;
}
}
}
}

Krystal my host have run some tests.

page is giving a 500 error. On checking this it's trying to run an autoload file. These are usually created with Composer. I would suggest reaching out to your developer so they can get this resolved.

I have no idea what Composer is!
Any ideas what I may have done wrong, (again!!)

Regards Shaun

Ignore the advice from Krystal.

1. you have pasted the SHOP SIDE application_top file
-> if this truly came from the admin side, there is the problem: you have somehow got the shop side file in the admin

2. If you pasted the incorrect file
-> post again, this time paste the ADMIN SIDE application_top file

--

L20 in the correct admin side application_top file requests DIR_FS_CATALOG.
Yours will not if you have the shop side file in the wrong place.

--

If you do in fact have correct files in the correct places, the next step is further diagnosis.
Await your response about correct/incorrect application_top files.

I'm pleased for you, but a bit disappointed, would it not be useful to let us know what you or Krystal did wrong?
It might help someone else in the future.

Time to start participating in terms of give and take, rather than just turn up when you need help.

Just giving that tiny hosting update...would be golden.

Hello Burt and the community.
I am so sorry but my last post was wrong.
I did indeed post the wrong file!
I was in such a panic I didn’t know what I was doing.
The reason that I could not login is because I was using the wrong credentials ! what an idiot.
