Got error 'PHP message: No unique manufacturer for [0:1]

1.1.0.6 PHP 8.2
I have no manufactures at all in my shop, I make everything myself.
I am getting this occasionally which does not coincide with an order being placed, perhaps the customer was deterred?
AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: No unique manufacturer for [0:1]'

I have found that error text in includes\classes\manufacturer.php

I have the category/manufacturer content module enabled, can I uninstall that safely?

Set yourself as the manufacturer, manufacturer 1.
