coupon or discount

I have been looking for an add-on like a coupon or discount, trying to add it at the check out area, like, before the PayPal or credit card payment, applied to the total or subtotal. So there is no mess up on the database. Can any one help with this? Thank you for your attention and expertise.

Yes, but, this one has many changes to the core files and database. that is some thing I like to avoid, afraid of messing up my cart.

It has zero core changes and database changes are impossible to avoid, but are not a problem.

Hello, Raiwa and the Others,

I did install your add on, but failed at the last step:

"Create a discount code under Administration -> Catalog -> Discount Codes". It does not load there.

I went to the database (phpmyadmin) and checked the table with this name. The empty table is there. I think this might be a little too much than I can use, I hate to create another selected products for a special discount, the Specials offered in the original package is doing exact the same thing. What I really wanted was an "over the board discount" with a coupon code or a seasonal event with a coupon code to attract some buyers to the website. Like "Summer kick off, 10% discount", or "new user appreciation, 15% off upto $70", which can be applied to the subtotal in the shopping cart.

I hope I get the idea clear what I am looking for. PLEASE let me know if you, or any one here who are capable, can make an add-on useful for the store owners.

Please post any problems related to Addons in the support tab of the Addon, where you downloaded it. Meanwhile discount code does exact what you need.
