I played with this a bit, now I have a list of viewed products

That is nice, awesome to see it being extended to better suit your needs.

I especially like the conversion rate column - gives you insight into a product to determine if changes are needed (eg 100 views, no conversion => new images, change description etc).

Especially excellent comparing it against the Core "products_viewed" report.
So much can be done with this Pulse system to uprate any shop!

I did consider making a similar thing for Admin - so that shopowner has an immutable log of actions taken in the admin area.
Maybe useful if a shop has more than 1 administrator?

Yes - we have this in admin since a long time (old osc) ... so for me definitely a must have!

It is also very useful for the automatic updates - triggered by eg date for end special ... etc. - We mark those actions SYS.

It's the start of a new system of creating really good reports. Like you say, a very good foundation.

It's time for Phoenix to give shopowners better reporting tools, so that shopowners can make better decisions about their shop/customers/products etc
