Thanks guys just wish I could afford more development time lol

I agree with other comments that the basic out of the box bootstrap design needs an overhaul and happy to help if needed

1. Mails (customer output)
Create Account, Checkout, Update order, Reset Password

The customer output (by mail) should be improved.
In earlier days there was an add-on called "PSI Notification"
which produced nicely HTML mails.
Actually this is no longer available.
(I have bought this add-on and could provide the code of this module to the core team.)

2. Reports (admin output)
Customer Order output
Products purchased
Products viewed
(Unsold carts old add-on which shows customer baskets)

Actually there is no way to print these reports in a proper way to a printer.
Could be improved by adding print functionality.

I got an e-mail saying, "At Google Earth, we can read maps backwards!" and I thought...

“That’s just spam”

@burt

C'mon guys lets keep this thread alive :geek:

My suggestion for today is to offer an option instead of the standard header menu which utilises what burt did with the Mega Menu as a header module.

I have made it into a header module with some extra options for limiting the display of the amount of top level categories shown before the 'more' link is shown https://phoenix-demo.co.uk

I'm definitely going to look at two things as both were done quickly to solve other issues;

1. search
2. horizontal menu thing

As well as doing something with better images/description for products. It'll be nice to have a change.

Other feedback here is about outgoing email, I believe that is all done using language defines isn't it ? What's the way forward for that? Just make the language bits more pretty, more wordy, what? Put them into info_pages to make it really easy? In this case info_pages would need an update. More work & more work, who's up for it?

Circling back to this, we now have the opportunity to fix mistakes made in the cosmetic look of Phoenix.

What should we do first? Need bite-size ideas that might make an immediate "that is loads better" impact...

I'm open to any and all suggestions. TY in advance.

Both the demo and the out of the box installation of Phoenix..

I'm sort of trying to keep many plates spinning at the moment due to the recent changes in the Team, so I can only do bite-size chunks as I have a bit of time.

Yes? No? Forgetting the CARDs for now as changing those will change all cards everywhere.
