Yes, we had changed the position and edited the core mod search button to input-group-prepend which caused the unexpected overlaid text :roll: :oops: - works fine with unmodified core file. ;)
However, the behaviour on your demo, as mentioned in previous post, still exists.

I don't see a "x" in the search box on the demo site? Can you send me a screenshot as well as what browser/OS you are using so I can replicate? Thanks

Using Chrome.
Enter "red" to see:

Click "x" to see:

The underlaid text disappears when another search term is entered.

I confirm the same on my site. My PC runs Chrome/Windows 10.

@heatherbell @Moxamint
Thanks guys. I see it now in Chrome. I use Firefox.

I will add some logic to deal with that, as well as some extra settings.

Configured to only show Title and see superfluous/unexpected top padding/margin on every row except first row.
That is (in the screenshot), "Green Apples" row displays vertically centred as expected, subsequent rows not so.

TYOP - Shows "Perdictive" in admin.
Superfluous/unexpected top padding/margin on every row except first row persists (as shown in previous post).
