Wondering if anyone considered adding a price match button on the product pages?

Saw this elsewhere and can't find the site again.

Would be awesome for those that offer a lowest price guarantee.

Thanks

I didn't know what a 'price match button' did so just out of interest I did an internet search for 'price match button' which gave results for add-ons available for Shopify and BigCommerce. They explained the concept of giving customers the facility to input the URL of where they saw the product cheaper and one add-on enabled the customer to make an offer price. Maybe one of the Cert Devs would like to take that on if you contacted them for a quote.
Interesting to see the pricing of the add-ons I found being from $5 to $15 per month. Goes to show that GO PRO is a real bargain.

Sorry, I was going to respond to this, but I needed to do a search first and got distracted. I don't think it would be difficult to modify the Per Product FAQ code to do this.

app.php/addons/supporters_code/s08e02_per_product_faq/

Basically all that you need to do this is the ability to take input from a customer (which is what that add-on does). Presumably you would process the URL manually (so that you can verify that they are directing you to an equivalent). So it might be as simple as customizing the language files.

Certainly the certified developers would be able to do this (and might be able to add some extra bells and whistles, like a separate price input). Or you could try just doing the language file edits yourself.

If you don't already have that add-on, I should be posting it sometime this month.

I don't have that code, guessing it was Pre Phoenix and would need a bit of work.

GO PRO is truly a bargain.

Can't speak for the other platforms but the support provided by those of you knowledgeable is fantastic.
