I broke it!!

It was working about a few days ago when I installed the Featured Products 2.2.5 addon. Then I saw it had been updated so I installed the newer version over the old. I did not check it after doing so.

Today, I created a new product for download. It hung up when I clicked the add button.

These are the last 2 things I did. Not sure the Featured Products addon has anything to do with it. Just going back to the point I last made any changes. The Slim Checkout addon has been disabled for a while.

I believe the issue will be with a download product as that's where it hung up.

Here's a snippet of the error log, it seems to just be repeating.

Any help would be appreciated.

To me, that looks like you have lost quite a few entries of the configuration-table in the db.
If you have a back-up of your db (especially the configuration-table), use that. If not, you'd have to either manually insert the missing values or install a fresh db (to which you could copy your products and so)

I just tried and that didn't resolve the issue. I used a backup from 12/27/2021. I also did a file backup on the same date. I might try that.

TEMPLATE_SELECTION

Missing this one is what throws the fatal error in the above. That tells us that there is a database problem in the configuration-table that needs to be solved. Replacing files will not do

You could try running this: in your db.
I'm not a developer, so please be cautious and make a fresh back-up before trying!

What happens if you remove this folder: override/slim_checkout/?
(Just move it to somewhere on you PC)
Maybe something is trying to load from the db before it's loaded. Else I'm out of ideas

The addon was disabled but I just finished deleting the modules files and directory. Came back an saw your post.

Your error-message must have changed, though?
Also, just for good meassure, try searching your configuration in db for these:
SESSION_FORCE_COOKIE_USE
GZIP_COMPRESSION
and the rest in you first post. You can serach like this: //Daniel
