hi, am new, some help needed please

I have just set up a store, its going to be used to sell tickets to events.

have made some changes but all that has seemed to have done is add loads of error messages on the store front...

how can I make it so that UKP is default at the top of the screen?

can I add a bank account in the payments section? instead of paypal?

If you want to have customers pay direct into your bank account you can use an addon which is available from here app.php/addons/free/payment-21

I did of course mean GBP and I have managed to sort that via "Define Languages, and English"

how can I edit the "About us" text?

Get Notepad +++ and then do a search, Find in files, set to search in the Phoenix Cart directory, put the first few words, Lorem, I think, and you'll find the file that needs to be edited.

Yes it would.
You will find that here - /includes/languages/english/modules/content/index/cm_i_title.php if that's what you mean by 'shop title' otherwise the name of your shop is what you have input in Admin>Configuration>My Store>Store Name

in the "Store Name" it just says what I want it to say, which is "Buxton Raceway Store", but on the home page of the shop its says "Welcome on Buxton Raceway Store", Welcome On doesnt make sense, it needs to say "To The", but I cant find where to edit that part.

Change in Admin>Tools>Define Languages>modules/content/index/cm_i_title.php
