Shop has white screen only

Forgive me for double posting but @heatherbell suggested I seek help here.

I had a 1.0.7.0 live shop on PHP 7.4
Thankfully I have a complete backup of the files and database.
I developed a 1.0.8.0 shop on XAMPP which works correctly including some addons.
So I backed up the live shop, replaced the files with the 1.0.8.0 version, modified the configuration and hooks tables etc.

After a bit of fiddling the admin side is accessible and although I cannot yet test all the functions it appears OK.

My problem is the shop will not appear, I just get a white screen. The server error log is empty so I have no clues what is wrong.

Any ideas what I can do to get a foothold on what is going on?

"View Source" on a white screen page and see if it has anything. Report back.

Unfortunately that is blank as well.

Update, never got it going so did a complete restore from backups taken just before I hit the button and I have my site back.

I feel your pain!
We had a similar scenario some while ago, that is to say that we had a staging/test store working on XAMPP but it failed when transferred to the host server - no idea why. Since then we have had our test sites in a htpasswd protected sub-folder on the host server and transfers have been problem free (besides problems of our own making!) I guess it's because the test stores are in exactly the same server environment as the live stores.
