Not receiving order confirmations when using Paypal

Hi,
Using Phoenix 1.0.8.17 Pro I do not receive the order confirmation emails. Of course, I do receive an email from Paypal saying that an order has been placed and payment received but no longer receive the phoenix cart email which had more details on product options, etc. Has anyone else noted this problem... could someone look into this please? Thanks in advance for your help.

If other store mails (contact us enquiries, mails from admin side) are going out, it may be due to the order confirmation mail subject.
I also suppose you have "Send extra order mails" filled in.
I had this in 2 shops where the server (one was GoDaddy) filtered/blocked mails containing the core subject text "Order Process".
Try changing it to something different.

Have you set the SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO value? It defaults to empty, in which case no email is sent.

Also, the email only sends if either the person returns to the cart after ordering or you have IPNs set up properly.

Yes I do have the SEND_EXTRA_ORDER_EMAILS_TO filled in with a gmail account but neither the webmail nor my gmail account receives the order confirmation.

Funny, they always came through before without modifying "Order Process" on IONOS for years but I will try and then have to wait until someone orders again. Will let you know.
