You do have an email address in 'Configuration>My Store>Email Address'?gabbysplaza wrote: ↑Sun Oct 02, 2022 4:14 pm Hi, I'm not getting email notifications when a new order is placed. How can I resolve this? Thanks
Have you tried adding and extra send to email address in 'Configuration>My Store>Send Extra Order Emails to'?
Have you changed any of the settings in 'Configuration>Email Options'?

Re: No Email Notification
@tessthepup Thank you for your support. I can confirm I have an email address for both email address sections. My email options are setup as follows:

Re: No Email Notification
@raiwa I'll try that but I thought that was to check the customer's email address is valid?
Re: No Email Notification
I had this problem recently, Google search showed that any gmail address (as store address) was the problem. Solved by using non-gmail store address. worked in my instance. Hope this helps.
Re: No Email Notification
Did you manage to get this resolved ?
I also don't receive any email notifications when items are sold, I have tried every possible option with no success, I can only check orders regularly through admin. I am not using gmail.
Best Regards
Steve

Re: No Email Notification
Hello @spoole76 I just ran into this same issue and not sure why this happens as I do get emails from the contact form. I can also send emails to customers via admin.
No Email Notification Fix
The email notification issue seems not to be getting much coverage here despite the fact that it is a serious issue.
To do some self help, I want to add some code after successful checkout to notify admin of a new order as phoenix is not sending notifications. In order to do this, I need to pull the "Store Owner" and "Email Address" values to add to my code.
How do I extract these values from phoenix?

Re: No Email Notification
I had problems to get the order confirmation mails sent to the store owner on some hostings when the store owner mail and the send extra owner mail are the same. Try to change the extra order mail to a different mail address (but also a domain mail).
On some hosting I had to change the mail subject to a different text. But it affected both, the mail sent to customers and the extra order mail.
But for any case, you could give it a try.
Avoid any special character in the name prefix or try to use the mail address only, without the "name" prefix.
info@mymail.com
instead of:
info<info@mymail.com>
