CE Phoenix Cart Forum

I'm considering changing how I handle shipping and the software I use to do so. In particular I've been looking at ShipStation which allows you to compare rates for different carriers and select the carrier at the best rate for the service standard you want to use.

It also allows you to connect to different e-commerce platforms and market places so you can integrate the shipping process with your order management and customer communications.

On not such grand scale, it also allows you to import your shipping addresses etc using a csv file which should be relatively easy to create. I'm currently doing with other shipping software so it shouldn't be to difficult to recreate that.

Unfortunately Phoenix is not among the e-commerce platforms currently supported to allow for any greater integration so I'm wondering if anyone, especially our developers, has done any work in connecting ShipStation with Phoenix?

Also if anyone is using ShipStation I'd welcome any feedback or comments you may wish to share.

I’m working on the integration for latest Phoenix version. A commercial Addon will be soon available.

That is awesome Rainer. Are you doing a full blown integration or just the address import?

It allows to retrieve all order data, not only address, via xml which is triggered and retrieved from Shipstation side. It's one way. It doesn't interact back to Phoenixcart.
It's a single file.

I was wrong, there will be support to update order status and add tracking number from shipstation side.

That is awesome Rainer. I'm now a fan of ShipStation and will be purchasing your add-on as soon as I get a newer version of Phoenix up and running. Unfortunately I've been dragging me feet on doing that but now is the time.
