New Customer Profile fails to save

I am running Phoenix 1.07.15 with php 7.4.33 for a small web shop service on solarproject.co.uk
In the last 4 weeks customers have reported being unable to complete the New Customer Profile process, a fault I have replicated and confirmed. Instead of accepting the new details I am returned to the fully completed create_account.php page, despite having provided all the required fields.
Existing Customers are also unable to enter a new delivery address, but this is a much older problem.
Can anyone suggest a fix for this without having to reinstall the entire package please?

Are there any errors in the server error log files that may give a clue where to look?

I am out of my competence zone here but found the log files, which include the following:
[Tue Jun 20 13:03:24.565098 2023] [authz_core:error] [pid 3547699:tid 22458670393088] [client 185.229.21.104:52810] AH01630: client denied by server configuration: /home/solarpro/public_html/phoenix15/<<<admin>>>/backups/
[Tue Jun 20 10:37:48.725248 2023] [access_compat:error] [pid 3241139:tid 22457758996224] [client 149.90.81.63:64098] AH01797: client denied by server configuration: /home/solarpro/public_html/xmlrpc.php
Is there anything in these?

Could you remove the following extras from your create_account page to see if these are at fault;
1. the "jcm" privacy slider.
and
2. the google captcha
in other words, take the page back to what comes out of the box
See if that cures the issue.
Fot sure the "jcm" addon is not needed as that functionality exists in core code (can be seen just above the [continue] button). if the recaptcha is causing issue, this can be replaced with (eg) a simple maths question to weed out bots.
In any case, remove those two things and test the page...post back your results.

Thanks for the pointer 14Steve14, it turned out to be a server setting which my host has corrected:
"It was allow_url_fopen being disabled on the new server that caused the issue."
It looks as thought burt was on to it, many thanks for the help.

Navigation on left of this page - link to shop on shopping cart image is broken, only link on the text works although maybe change that link to go direct to shop.
