CE Phoenix will only allow me to load one product image

Have been loading more than one product image for that last couple of years
and for some reason I can't do it any more.
When I go to + Add new gallery image it will let me load it but does not save it.
I also notice the delete rubbish bin is now coloured RED.
All help much appreciated

Version: CE Phoenix v1.0.8.0
Existing store as I said two years now.
PHP = 1.0.8.0
I have not installed any add ons

If you say that it worked before, something must have been changed.
Did you or your host change the PHP version?
I'm not sure if Phoenix 1.0.8.0 was already flagged/tested for PHP 8.
Do you get any error logged in the error log file or displayed in your browser?

I am not sure about the host changing the PHP I will have to ask, I did not.
No errors

So what does happen when you try to add another image?
Is it saving the image into the database and just not showing it, or not saving it?

I can load an main image and it saves it ok.
I can load a gallery image and save an It but when I open that folder the image does not show as being saved.

I have been in touch with HostGator and they say the version of PHP has not been changed.

Did you try with different images and products?
Could you please provide screenshots from the admin page's image area before and after saving.

Yes I have tried different products and on two computers.
It will not allow more than one image, that being the main image.
Any gallery images, it will not save so it does not get uploaded.
Almost is if something is blocking it.
From where do I see screenshots from the "admin page's image area" is this where I load the images to the web page prior to saving?
I Cannot see how I post a pic here.
