How to get more than 7 images to show in gallery?

I'm using Phoenix version 1.0.8.20 and I'm having an issue showing more than 7 images on the product page. It has been confirmed that more than 7 images can be uploaded when adding a product. Here's what I have in gallery: Thumbnail Width: col-4 col-sm-6 col-lg-4 col-xl-1.
Another note is I upload images into a subfolder and use the latest version of Kissit Thumbnailer.
Has anyone experienced this?
If so, what was the solution?
What should I check in settings and the database?
I'm not sure if it's a bug or a wrong setting. Hopefully, we'll discover either.

First, are there more than seven images in table.products_images with a products_id for which you have more than seven images?
If so, when you look at the source code for that product, do you have more than seven times <img ... in the thumbnail-section?
And just to be sure: do you have a space or any funky characters in the sub-folder name?

this should not affect it. Here you are simply saying;
XS: 3 column layout
SM: 2 column layout
LG: 3 column layout
XL: 12 column layout
Whether you have 1 extra image or 100, the column layout doesn't matter - all image should show.
Here is image showing 12 extra images (for this layout I used col-sm-2, IE 6 columns of images), so I am pretty certain core code is OK;

You might like to link to your page showing only 7 images ?

No there are not more than 7 images in that table. On the source code, there is no more than 7 images. And there's no special characters in the subfolder name.

I know I uploaded more than 15 images for this product and the main image is in the products table and only 6 images appear in the products_images table.

You might like to check your admin product adding/editing page for this product to see how many images are uploaded. If the DB says 6 (and the shopside page shows 6), it should be 6.
Add some more...as I wonder if your host maybe has some sort of "upload" throttle or timeout or something. So although you inserted 15 in the adding/editing, maybe some just didn't make it...

I did as you instructed, no success. I attempted to add 3 more images and I attempted to add just 1 and they didn't upload. So I decided to see if anything in the error logs around the same time I made the attempted uploads would give a clue

open_basedir restriction in effect. File(/tmp) is not within the allowed path(s)
is the issue in uploading. Speak with the host, see what they say.

I think that resolved the issue. I added an 8th image and it uploaded. The server has been set to allow all uploads.
I'll try adding more later when I get some free time and report back.
