You might have to set that permission on your host server control panel and not Filezilla FTP.

For a Payment Module we'd recommend you look in the Addons Library for a free module, PayPal and Stripe are commonly used.

I have reinstalled PHP Version 7.4.33. That will do, won't it?

Apparently everything works and I'm going to test it thoroughly this morning.

For file rights, I had several problems because it did not work at first but everything became OK in 700 but I notice that the rights do not match in FTP and via Cpanel at my host. Another mystery

Not all hosts allow ftp-software to change permissions. Further, not all hosts allow strict file-permissions. For one specific host, I had to create and use a PHP-file on the server to change permissions lower than 644. Alternatively, I would have to get in touch with their support to have them change it for me. You might need to speak to your host to get the permissions correct.

In PHP version 7.4.33 I got a whole bunch of warnings, but I know where they came from.

In fact, my hosting was in PHP 8.2.13 and, to get into 7.4.33 for example, I just need to set the .htaccess in the directory I'm interested in.

For a long time, I used this trick without any trouble on this server, but a few weeks ago, I wanted to test a more "advanced" software and that's when I upgraded the hosting to PHP 8+ at the expense of other older scripts that stopped working. :-//

The second piece of news is less pleasant, as I've installed the only French language pack I could find, but it's for PHOENIX 1.0.8.19, which raises a question.

As I'm using Phoenix 1.08.20, should I have abstained?

Because although the installation went well, in the end I get an Error 500 page, I don't know what to do and I haven't (yet) found a way to uninstall a module in the documentation.

Have you checked the error log to see what is being reported?

No, there's nothing special in the log, but I've just restored the situation.

After uninstalling the module, I had the idea of checking with another browser and it worked just fine. So it was the browser (Chrome) that was at fault.

I cleared its cookies and other browsing data and the problem was solved.

It remains to be seen why this module behaved the way it did. I'll send a note to its designer.

So, all's well for now.
