I'd like to get some more Scheduler Modules coded up, to make the Queued Emails system more rounded and more useable.
View the Queued Emails process at viewtopic.php?f=28&t=2211
Can anyone think of an outgoing email where the email send time does not particularly need to be "immediate", but can be at some point in the future (ranging from X hour(s) to Y year(s)). Doesn't matter if the outgoing email is to one particular customer (eg most of the modules listed below) or to a group of customers (eg the update stock module below). TY.

How about an email for when there is only about less than 3 (or whatever you want to set) left

-When a "followed" product gets added to specials (and when a special on a followed product is about to end)
-Maybe "anniversary"-mails: "Hey Mickey! It's been ten years since you created a profile at XYZ-shop. So great that you're still here! If you write this code "10-anni" in the comments of your next order we'll send you a little something as a thank you for the time that has passed (I know you said one year, but I couldn't let the idea go)

A little bit more complicated. However;

Produces

Per customer subscribed.

Love this idea and was doing that very thing up until the pandemic started and both stocking and pricing issues raised their ugly heads and we could no longer discount items. In any case it's a beauty and I'd love to get back to doing that in a much easier way.

For ideas, perhaps a simple Order Thank you x days after the order shipped. I also have, rattling around in my head, some sort of a reorder reminder email ie a consumable was purchased X days/months ago and the customer might want to order again. I'm just not sure how one might set it up since the frequency would likely vary as would the products but perhaps there is a way. If that can be pinned down perhaps a "you might also like" email could be crafted as well. Just some thoughts...it's scary what rattles around in my head. :D

I have always though that it would be good to send out an email after the sale, and hopefully after the order has been received, just to check that everything is alright with the order and that the customer is happy. It continues the sale process and would probably even be allowed to those that are not signed up to receive emails as it could be classed as part of, and a continuation of, the sales process.

We use the product notification system as a stock update module now. We went through and changed the text so that it all geared up as a stock update notification. When we manually go through the notifications in admin it does seem to get a few extra sales, so something that is automatic and probable a little better than what is available in core currently would be so much better for store owners. We are still playing with the text to see if we can improve it. An email to those that need it would be great.

I like the look of where this is going.

Doesn't have to be limited to one year :+1:
I only put that as I was thinking about birthdays.

Here's a 5 year anniversary module showing the TPL and the outgoing (replaced) email - showing send date 5 years in the future. Ready to go and added into the download.

TY for the ideas!
