Where is the best place to post this code so it shows the site is secure?

Code: Select all

<span id="siteseal"><script async type="text/javascript" src="https://seal.godaddy.com/getSeal?sealID=8gXpsfnxj1iBibcQIjbIdvGZRx51bBGuGO4uNuu0X"></script></span>

There must be some instructions on the godaddy as to where it needs to be placed.
If you can link to their help pages, or post some more details, advice can better be given.

You need to ~always~ state what version of Phoenix you are using, when asking for help, as instructions might be different depending on version.

I haven't bothered using seals, of any type, for quite a few years but if I was to add one I would put it in the footer area so it can be seen on all pages.

I would do as Dan suggested. Make a footer module to show just the image and make the image clickable to any further page to show more information.

Thank all. Why do I see a thumbs down when I click on the thanks button here?

Before you click it, it shows "Thumbs Up" in case you want to thank. After you click it, it shows "Thumbs Down" in case you want to remove your previous thanks. I'm pretty sure that is just how the forum software works, not something that we did deliberately.

In the footer-suffix of the site. This is often used for 'seals' or 'logos', e.g. for payment or shipping partners etc.
A copy of the core cm_footer_extra_copyright.php module would suit this purpose.
For how to do this, see User Guide here - https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... ent_Module

Generally on the forum, if a post provides a working answer, the Thumbs Up icon button in the post should be used to indicate to future readers that the answer works although it can also be used to literally 'thank' the poster.
The Thumbs Down icon will then appear to reverse if the action was in haste or error.
Of course, if someone's time saves your time or helps to develop your store then the Buy Me A Beverage button (if displayed) is also an option :)
