Does not work in this form.
If I revert templates\bootstrap5\includes\languages\english\system\versioned\1.0.7.other\1.0.7.12\product.php
to the original version it works.

Changes made in 1.0.9.8 require that override file.

I mean I reverted to the version that was in the bootstrap5 template in the 1.0.9.7 update zip, not the core file.

Yes, I know what you mean, the file does not exist in 1.0.9.8 so it is required.
