Canonical Parameters

Post by rupruprup »

When you call up a product from a category, too many parameters are transferred. The product URL always has the sorting parameters from the product list appended to the URL.

This is not good for search engines.

https://phoenixcart.org/demo/product_in ... ducts_id=5

it should better be
https://phoenixcart.org/demo/product_in ... ducts_id=5

You are forgetting about canonical.
Is correct. Assuming you have canonical turned on.

ok the canonical is correct but I removed the paramters now in my product cards, they produced a lot of double content in the google search console, the issue is not new with 1.0.9.8 but I never noticed it before
