Option B

I prefer option B but I think it's still missing a row with 2 columns to be perfect in my eyes.

Guessing that the choice is about the display/design, Option B being full width and monochrome, much improved.
Never been a fan of the 'caput mortuum' colours of the original.

This is only about cosmetic appearance.

You can make it two columns in the relevant module.

What we have at the moment is Option A. This is in 4 parent modules, and each child module latches onto it to display the "grid".

What I want to do;

1. centralise this display output into one file [it is *almost* the same code repeated in 4 files at the moment]
2. work with native bootstrap5 color/style rather than the "purple" version we have at the moment

Why?

1. cut down on code
2. make other addons using layout, slightly easier to code
and
3. look more polished

1 and 2 can be achieved irrespective of cosmetic display, doesn't matter if it's shades of purple or shades of grey.
But as I am working in that area, I thought I might as well make it look slightly nicer, hence the "you prefer" poll.

A good by-product of updating in this area is that the PI Layout's will become fully responsive.

NOW:

For each slot, it is possible to choose ONE of 12 11 ..... 1
This translates to col-sm-12, col-sm-11 .... col-sm-1

A: col-sm-12
B: col-sm-6
C: col-sm-6
D: col-sm-4
E: col-sm-4
F: col-sm-4
G: col-sm-12
H: col-sm-6
I: col-sm-6

IN THE NEW APPEARANCE:

Each slot could be (eg)

A: col-sm-12 col-md-8 col-lg-6
B: col-sm-6 col-md-4 col-lg-4
C: col-sm-6 col-lg-2
D: col-6 col-sm-4
E: col-6 col-sm-4
F: col-6 col-sm-4
G: col-6 col-sm-12
H: col-sm-6
I: col col-sm-6

The new layout would get really complicated really quickly so I suspect most shopowners will just use col-sm-x on each slot, but the flexibility will be there to really make an incredible layout, fully responsive.
