Hi,

I am sure I am missing something really basic, but I can't get the tax function to work on the site I'm setting up - im working on 1.1.0.4 and have set up everything the same as my active 1.0.8.20 site (which obviously works)...

I am trying to set up GST for australia (10%) but when I log in as an austalian customer it does not show up on the products or in the order confirmation page...

I have set up tax classes, rates & zones the same as in my active site and have Tax set on order total... am I missing something else? I have even tried this on a fresh install to see if I had messed something up and it is still not working

Maybe: Configuration -> My Store -> Show prices with tax?

Tax Zones

Are all 3 set up correctly?
Have you assigned Relevant Tax Class to Product(s)
Have you assigned Relevant Country (AU) and States (if applicable) etc

Does the actual order (that you look at, admin side) show the tax details?
Is the Tax `Order total` module turned on?

thankyou @burt ... I knew I was missing something simple ... forgot to apply tax classes to individual products...
