Hello everyone, I'm back after some time.
How's the software going and is it worth me using it for my business site ?
I really used to like the format but work and other things took me away.

Hello Nigel, Don't know how long ago you stopped using it but version 1.1.05 is better than ever with new features, better presentation , improved admin great email features... the list goes on. Not to mention the excellent support and addons both free and paid. Of course going pro in the forum gives access to even greater assistance from the team and pro members. Personally I would not think of changing for any other CMS!

Good to see ya back!
When did you last use Phoenix @Nigel ?
Moved from Bootstrap4 to Bootstrap5 in about v1.0.9.7
Updated the Admin Area to Bootstrap5 in v1.1.0.0
Some really good new features have been added, and some older ones remvoed/updated.
Jewel in the Crown (I think) is Phoenix's Queued Emails system <--- gamechanger for shopowners, keeping customers in the loop and `on the boil`.
We're in a few of the hosting quick installers like Softaculous so installation can be done from cPanel on your hosting account, alternatively download the latest version and give it a go..
Put simple, it's more or less as it was in outlook and ethos, and we're trying to respond to shopowners needs and wants as best we can. Be that in Core Code or as Addons, there has been some really really good addons released in recent times.

Thanks for the replies.
Looking at my emails etc. it looks like it was as far back as 8th December 21. It was an admin email about the Pro Supporter VIP Group.
Things must be a lot different now !

I'd advise an install of the latest version (1.1.0.6), and have a look around.
Ask questions. I think it'll come back to you quickly, like riding a bike.
