Hello all,

When I added my test products in the admin side, they show with a lower price on the shop side.

Product input £50 with free postage, product shown in shop £36.90, can you point me in the right direction what I need to change.

Is there more than one currency enabled for the site?

The price set in admin > catalog is in the default currency for the site. This doesn't show on the edit page but you can see it on the summary panel when the product is in focus in the list view.

What's shown on the shop side depends on the selected currency.

Maybe you entered the price 50 £ as gross price (incl. VAT) and it shows shop side excl. VAT because you have it in the configuration set to show prices without VAT.

GBP is default currency.
All other currencies and countries have been removed.
I did have set up to have prices displayed without tax, which I have now changed but problem persists.


In admin I have tax class NONE

Products Price (net) 50

Products Price (gross) 50 (if set to 50, (net) price changes to 50)

Display price £36.90.

Also I have free postage.

Do you have a discount applied? Any addon which may interfere?
Otherwise I have no clue for an explication. Maybe post screenshots.

Found it!!!!

Under Localization/Currencies, the value somehow was set to 0.7379998!!!! It should have been (1).

I can't imagine how I could have changed this figure, (or how it could have got there).

Anyway, problem solved, only a little less hair.
