how can i resolve special characters in a customer order email?
before posting I tried but without success.
example: the customer is called Markus Jöbstl and lives on Millstätterstraße 10.
in the email: Alexander Jöbstl Millstätterstraße 10

I'm not really sure that this is really a Phoenix problem but more of an email problem
What format are you sending the email in?
Is your email client set to read utf8_unicode_ci? very often their default is western

This is not limited to emails either - couriers, Parcelforce for example deletes special characters in addresses, my accounting program either shows the same as your example or a ? in a black diamond

Hi @Xpajun, the emails sent and received do not have errors, only in the customer order email, any help is appreciated, thanks
