This addon is showing categories, link to specials and other pages in a navbar in the header section.

The navbar is multilevel drop down type.

Currently only working with Phoenix v1.0.8.5

Features not yet implemented:
- sticky top on scrolling
- category "header" in submenus
- links to several pages, recent views, favourites e t c
- some more styling options

I am using horizontal-categories-navbar in my current e-commerce site and i am trying to implement a similar navbar here before shifting over to phoenix version.

There are other Horizontal Menu addons - but the one I bought did not use multilevel dropdown and not all levels of categories is displayed.

I do not know where to post source code that are in Alfa-state so I made a public Github repository for the code.

This is a work in progress and all input/testing/evaluation is much appreciated!!

I like where you're going with this. I haven't it installed or tested it yet but I've always liked the sticky top so the navigation is always present within the active window. I discovered your post while I was looking for a method to show all the categories or subcategories while on a product page. Whether using a Navbar or box as a listing method. I feel like many customers find the specific product page they want but don't see the breadcrumb navigation or realize that there are other products in the category. I'd like to know how I can limit the categories listing in the box module to just the category for the product. I'll take a look at your add-on.

I just installed it's working fine on desktop but not on small screen.. I think the Collapse Breakpoint not working well on small screen if I change navbar-expand to navbar-expand-sm or any of setting there the menu show on the small screen but its not clickable.

I am planning to implement a separate navbar for mobile view, just like it is done at my current site (oscommerce). see https://www.hemfinahem.se
( don't select english language, use swedish language - it's not totally translated to english yet. )

So for mobile view it will be an update shortly.
