Hello! I just setup shop and feedback is good but question why about us is at bottom of page. Been told it's better at top so customers can read and know about shop before being offered stuff to buy. Good idea or not? To fix or not? And how to?

A new Info Page for About Us can be created - see User Guide here https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... Info_Pages

or alternatively, there is a Supporters Addon (Header Info Bar) that can show links to any pages here https://phoenixcart.org/product_info.php?products_id=32
or alternatively, if your About Us text is not that long, it could be added to Main Text that is shown on home page (Index) - Tools>Define Languages>modules/content/index/cm_i_text_main.php
Just suggestions - possibilities are endless.

I like your last suggestion best. Thank you for your help.

@heatherbell I've managed to add text as you suggested and it's great. Just wanted to ask if there's nay way to make that text nicer looking. The plain text kind of looks odd between the nice welcome box and the featured products section. Any help/suggestion is very much appreciated.

All elements can have their style and colour changed - see User Guide here: https://phoenixcart.org/phoenixcartwiki ... and_Colour
Hint: in this case, styles would be applied to cm-i-text-main in your user.css.
'Nicer looking' is a matter of personal taste. Maybe consider whether the 'Welcome box' is needed at all.

You might also find this video helpful, in addition to the User Guide (which I highly recommend that you read - it answers many questions you might have)
