Hi - I had spoken with Preston (@zipurman about creating a Mega Menu where you'd hover over your level 1 category titles and a full width window would show your sub-menus in columns...basically what you see nowadays on pretty much all modern eCommerce webstores. He did say he'd started looking into it but it's more complex than you'd think. I'd keep an eye on what he may come up with...free or paid add-on. I've been dreaming of this one myself for years now

I am still planning on building a menu system addon. It's a larger project and I just haven't had the time as I am working on a bunch of other projects. I have no ETA on this one.
