One-Time Checkout Offer for CE Phoenix Cart
By BusyBee Commerce
Download One-Time Checkout Offer
Give customers a relevant reason to add one more product before completing their order.
One-Time Checkout Offer displays discounted products at the payment stage of checkout. Create offers for different basket values, choose the products and prices, and present them directly on the checkout page or in a modal popup.
Use it to promote complementary products, introduce customers to another range, offer accessories or create an exclusive checkout deal. Customers can accept an offer or continue with their existing order.
Target offers by basket value
Create multiple offer tiers to control which products customers see.
Tier values use the store’s base currency and include products, product tax, delivery and delivery tax. When more than one enabled tier qualifies, the highest numeric priority wins. Equal priorities are resolved using the lowest tier ID. Products are taken from the winning tier rather than combined across tiers.
Choose fixed prices or percentage discounts
Each product rule supports either:
Phoenix handles the applicable tax and customer currency display. An offer never increases the product’s normal price.
A straightforward checkout experience
Eligible signed-in customers see the offer when they reach the payment page.
The first accepted offer locks the qualifying tier for that basket. Adding an offered product or recalculating delivery does not switch the customer into another tier. Remaining eligible products from the same tier can still be accepted.
Inline or modal display
Choose the presentation that suits your checkout.
Without JavaScript or native dialog support, offers remain inline and product addition still works. Server-side validation and pricing remain in place.
Ten predefined designs and a custom appearance
Choose from:
Flexible product layouts
Arrange products in side-by-side rows or full-width stacked cards.
Detailed colour, typography and button controls
Every appearance colour field has a colour picker, editable HEX input and copyable RGB readout. Optional colours can be cleared to return to the automatic design colour.
Customise:
Edit the heading, description, promotional badge, Add button text, dismiss button text, savings label and inline availability note.
Leave a text override blank to use the supplied wording. This makes it easy to adapt the offer to your store’s tone without changing the add-on’s code.
Organised administration
Manage the add-on under Catalog → Checkout Offers.
The administration workspace separates settings into clear tabs:
Tier controls include edit and delete icons, currency-formatted limits and adjacent Save and Delete buttons.
Built-in user manual
The User manual tab provides a three-step quick start, grouped topics, a dedicated reading pane and local search.
It covers tier setup, pricing examples, product selection, display modes, templates, appearance controls, the customer checkout journey, testing, troubleshooting, disabling offers and removing the add-on.
Order-specific pricing and validation
The discount belongs to the accepted checkout offer. It does not create a global catalogue special or require a coupon.
Eligibility, stock rules, selected options and accepted prices are checked on the server. Discounted order lines, taxes and totals use Phoenix’s own order-building process.
Changes to other basket contents, quantities, options, customer or currency invalidate the saved acceptance. Offered products remain in the basket at their normal prices, and checkout must be reviewed again.
Completing the order ends the acceptance. Disabling or deleting the relevant tier or product rule prevents further application of that discount. Historical orders retain their saved prices after the add-on is removed.

Target offers by basket value
Create multiple offer tiers to control which products customers see.
- Set a minimum basket value and an optional maximum.
- Leave the maximum blank for an unlimited upper range.
- Enable or disable individual tiers.
- Use priorities to choose the winning tier when ranges overlap.
- Assign multiple products to each tier.
- Give the same product different offer prices in different tiers.
- Fixed unit price: Set the final offer price before tax, in the store’s base currency. Selected product option surcharges are included in this fixed price and are not added again.
- Percentage discount: Apply a discount to the current normal or special price, including selected product option adjustments.
Phoenix handles the applicable tax and customer currency display. An offer never increases the product’s normal price.
A straightforward checkout experience
Eligible signed-in customers see the offer when they reach the payment page.
- Customers can add one unit of each offered product.
- Products already in the basket are excluded.
- Inactive products are excluded.
- Stock availability is checked when store stock checking is enabled.
- Products with options allow customers to choose the required options.
- Displayed prices and savings update when options change with JavaScript enabled.
- Customers can continue checkout without accepting an offer.

- Inline: Display the offer panel above the payment methods with JavaScript enabled.
- Modal: Open the offer automatically on each eligible payment-page visit or reload.
