Phoenix but IS Phoenix

Post by burt »

https://phoenixcart.org/demo/index.php

TO DO
1. Add Category Menu DONE
2. Add Manufacturer Menu DONE
3. Other things - open to ideas

Please critique on `overall cosmetic appearance` - that is my main focus at the moment.
Could do with some eyes other than mine!

Thanks In Advance :+1:

This is mostly Template Based (template name => Ignis).
Also has a couple of extra addons installed.
As well as some minor changes on existing modules config (eg changing sort order).

Great job.
2 minor things for my eyes:
Navbar: the search box looks a bit misaligned in relation to the logo and specials
Product page: the blue color of the available date badge looks too strong.

@burt it is looking great and so much cleaner.

My only suggestion is reducing the font sizes as they are a little in your face

TY - I have fixed both those things.
Might need a hard refresh to kick in..

TY - I'm quite liking fonts a bit bigger...but I'm open to persuasion.
I based it on the general typography in shopify type sites.

@burt I will let others have an opinion lol

Another little suggestion are the footer blocks, for asthetics it might look nicer if they are centrally aligned with the body content. Again just personal preference

Anyone else have input on this, please
Don't be shy. Any and all ideas will be taken on board and thought about.

This is to be the new "out of the box" default theme, so it would be really great to get as much input and ideas as possible, thank you.

For font size...my eyes are getting old so bigger is better from my point of view.

I have now added Explore Link in the Navbar.

TY for the feedback and ideas so far, guys :+1:

I think this is close to "prime time" ?

OK, maybe asking tolook at whole site is too much? TYVM to those who did take time, much appreciated. You helped me make decisions.

Let's instead concentrate solely on Product Page, anyone have thoughts, ideas, feedback. Be as critical as ya like.
