Migrating from OSc 2.3.4, very impressed with Phoenix but stumped when setting up Paypal.
In my OSc site I used my personal account, I didn't need to be a PayPal Business Account holder. Am I right in thinking that Phoenix now makes the Business Account unavoidable?

Re: Paypal with personal account
A business account is recommended for merchants who operate under a company/group name. Have you tried entering your Paypal account credentials?solarpeter wrote: ↑Tue Jan 12, 2021 2:51 pmAm I right in thinking that Phoenix now makes the Business Account unavoidable?

Re: Paypal with personal account
The Paypal App has no functional differences. You should check with Paypal if you are able to use a Personal Account.
So long as you can set up the required things at Paypal (API signature etc) you should be golden.
Obviously if a personal account does not allow you to use API features, then you would need to have a business account.
In any case, speak with Paypal.
