Fake Accounts vs. Maths Captcha

It might be worth trying math captcha and the honeypot - it might be enough, without the hcaptcha.

OK I'll try that tonight and report back.

honeypot + math captcha still let very few bots slip through; honeypot + hcaptcha completely stopped them.

hCaptcha threw this notice below. This is the only notice so far ever since I started using hCaptcha :

[06-Sep-2023 19:09:58 Asia/Taipei] PHP Notice: Undefined index: h-captcha-response in /xxxxxxxx/xxxxxxxx/shop.bugdorm.com/includes/hooks/shop/siteWide/hCaptcha.php on line 32

Should it be addressed, or can I simply ignore it?

Try changing that line to;

$captcha = $_POST['h-captcha-response'] ?? '';

Please let me know if that change stops the error_log filling up and that the hcaptcha still works as intended (both for stopping spammers and for allowing real users through). Thanks

No error anymore. No spammer went through. The Contact Us form worked flawlessly.
