Making a New Product or Item from existing products

I sell and make cables for musicians. I sell both the parts to make cables as well as assembled cables from the parts I sell. Can I use attributes or some other feature to ensure that I can do both, but that the stock of all the parts diminish once an assmbled cable sells?

There is an addon called 'bundled products' that is a PRO VIP addon so is only available to PRO VIP members. It allows site owners to build a kit of parts from parts listed on the site. When a kit sold the stock was deducted for the kit and the parts in the kit.
