This customer_data module adds an Anagram Captcha onto your create_account page.
This may help to stop Bots and other bad actors creating accounts at your Shop.

There are NO CORE CODE CHANGES in this Addon, simply upload and turn it on.

In the example image, I chose to show a bunch of Planets. You can set up Anagrams of your own and make them as easy or as hard as you wish, in each different language on your shop.

This Customer Data module is a continuation of my original Maths Captcha Hook.

Remaking the original hook into a CD module means that you can more easily protect other pages in your site, and more easily style the Captcha in the chosen pages.

hCaptcha is a Recaptcha alternative, designed to help in the fight against Spammers and Bots. You can read more about hCaptcha by visiting the hCaptcha site.

Installation is very simple, just sign up at hCaptcha and get your unique site key - insert those details into the addon. As this addon is a lightweight hook, it is a simple upload and forget about it to start protecting your site. Used in conjunction with the Honeypot, this is known to stop 99% of Bots and Spammers.

This addon extends the create_account.php page with a "Honeypot". This Honeypot is designed to help your site trap "bad actors" (spammers, bots) who automatically create accounts, in conjunction with other options such as a Maths Captcha.

If the Honeypot detects a bad actor, the create_account form will silently fail, leaving that bad actor to wonder what is going on.

In other words, this addon is designed to HELP stop your site being abused, by drive by spammer and idiots.
