This addon allows the shopowner to link categories for the purpose of upselling.

For example, let's imagine that your shop sells formal shirts (in one category) and a range of ties (in another category). The usual way of upselling is on a product<>product basis, ie you link a shirt to all the ties, you link another shirt to all the ties and so on. If you have so many products, this is a never ending task.

My new system allows the shopowner to link the shirts category to the ties category. Now when the shopper is viewing any shirt, an upsell of ties will appear on the product page.

There are no core code changes in this Addon.

It includes admin capability to easily link categories and a shop side content module to display the upsells.

Admin
When adding or editing a product category (category A), you will have a dropdown list to allow you to select a "sibling" category (category B).

Shop
When viewing any product in Category A, a range of products from Category B will be shown.

The beauty of this system...shopowner can add more products to linked categories, and these products automatically have upsells! Saving you masses of time and effort !
