The purpose of this contribution is to add a Continue Shopping button to the Shopping Cart Page as a Pi/Layout Module.
- If there are products in the shopping cart, it links to the category of the last successfully added product that is still in the cart. This includes adding more of an existing product with the same options.
- If the last added product is no longer in the cart, or no addition has been tracked yet, it uses the most recently added separate cart item remaining in the cart.
- If the cart is empty and the visitor is returning from checkout, it links to the home page.
- Otherwise, an empty cart links to the latest remembered category visited through a category or product page. This category is retained when the cart is emptied.
- If no category has been remembered, it searches navigation history for a suitable storefront page, skipping background endpoints, shopping cart entries, and checkout pages. If none is available, it links to the home page.

- Corrected the cart product selection for Phoenix's reversed product order, selecting the newest item instead of the oldest when no addition has been tracked.
- Added a system hook to remember successful product additions, including repeat additions with the same options.
- Checks remembered additions during application startup, before the layout module builds the button, so its destination reflects the latest addition.
- Remembers the latest browsed category independently of Phoenix navigation history, preserving the destination after emptying the cart.
- Retained the background-endpoint protection introduced in version 1.1.

- Protected the empty-cart Continue Shopping link against background endpoints such as the Pulse analytics collector, preventing navigation to its "Method Not Allowed" error page.
- The button now searches earlier navigation history, skipping background endpoints, shopping cart entries, and checkout pages.
- Falls back to the home page when no suitable storefront destination is available.
