When someone signs up for an account in your store, they need to provide their email address. But what happens if that email address is already registered? Normally, the customer won’t find out until they submit the whole form, which can be frustrating.
To make this smoother, this addon checks the email address right after the customer types it, without refreshing the page. If the email address is already registered, they are asked to "login".
